Diving Experience in Olympos

The Olympos diving experience takes place in some of the clearest waters of the Mediterranean. Since Olympos ancient city is a protected archaeological site and water sports are prohibited there, we conduct our dives at special dive spots in nearby Adrasan. We provide free transfer from Olympos to Adrasan.

Our marked dive spots in Adrasan include: Bat Cave, Light Room, Catamaran, Poseidon, Pirasali Island and Pirate Cove. Each offering its own unique underwater scenery, visibility at these points can reach 20 meters. Whether you want to go underwater for the first time in your life or aim to become a professional diver, we have programs suitable for every level with over 30 years of experience.

Our diving programs are conducted with internationally recognized PADI and CMAS certification systems. Our experienced instructors will be with you throughout the dive and ensure you enjoy safely underwater. The rich marine life of Adrasan, caves, rock formations and various sea creatures will fascinate you.

Our Courses and Programs

Discovery Dive

Are you curious about the underwater world but have never dived before? Then the Olympos discovery dive is perfect for you. No certification or previous experience is needed. All you need is curiosity and willingness to enter the water.

Before the dive, we give a short briefing on our boat. We introduce the equipment, explain how to breathe underwater and teach sign language. Then our instructor enters the water one-on-one with you and together you explore at a maximum depth of 5 meters. Seeing fish up close, examining the rocks on the seabed and feeling that silence... Even your first dive will be an unforgettable memory.

The discovery dive lasts approximately 20 minutes and non-swimmers can also participate comfortably. All equipment is provided by us. We provide free transfer from your accommodation in Olympos to the Adrasan dive spot.

Discovery Scuba Diving (DSD)

One step beyond the discovery dive, Discovery Scuba Diving is a PADI program designed for those who want to experience scuba diving more seriously. If you are not ready for a certification course yet or your time is limited, with DSD you can descend to 12 meters and experience a real diving sensation.

Throughout the program your instructor works one-on-one with you. After learning basic diving skills, you complete your dive in the open sea. You must be at least 14 years old to participate, no previous diving experience is needed.

Open Water Scuba

If you want to get your first internationally valid diving certification, the Open Water course is for you. This course consists of three parts: theoretical training, shallow water practices and open water dives. At the end of the course, you will have an internationally valid certification and can dive up to 18 meters anywhere in the world.

You complete 4 dives in the open water section. The clear waters of Adrasan provide an excellent environment for this training because visibility is high and currents are quite calm. The course usually takes 3 to 4 days.

Advanced Open Water

After getting your Open Water certification, if you want to improve your diving skills and go deeper, the Advanced Open Water course is your next step. With this course you become able to dive up to 30 meters.

The course consists of 5 dives and is usually completed in 2 to 3 days. You practice deep diving, underwater navigation and other skills. The dive spots of Adrasan are ideal for this course; from Bat Cave to Pirate Cove, you will discover different underwater scenery at different depths.

CMAS 1* Diver

We offer 1-star diver training for those who want to get a diving certification through the CMAS system. Upon successfully completing this course, you will master diving theory and learn how to use equipment correctly. After the course, you can make open water dives up to 18 meters accompanied by at least a 3-star diver or instructor.

CMAS certifications are recognized worldwide and valid in many countries. With this training received in Adrasan, you can continue diving even after your holiday.

CMAS 2* Diver

After getting your 1-star certification and completing at least 20 logged dives, you can move on to 2-star diver training. Those who want to transfer from other systems like PADI or SSI can also join this course.

As a 2-star diver, you consolidate your open water diving experience. You become able to dive up to 30 meters with at least a 2-star level diver. This level is an important step toward independence in diving.

Rescue Diver

Feeling safe in diving is one thing, being able to ensure the safety of others is a completely different level. The Rescue Diver course teaches you to recognize and respond to problems that may occur underwater and in the diving environment.

This course is completed with an intensive 3-day program. It includes both academic and practical training. At the end of the course, your confidence in the diving environment increases significantly. To start the Rescue Diver course, you first need to get the Emergency First Response (EFR) certification.

Emergency First Response (EFR)

The EFR course is actually useful training not just for divers, but for everyone. You learn general first aid rules, artificial respiration and cardiac massage. While it is not a diving course, it contains life-saving information.

The EFR certification is mandatory to start the Rescue Diver course. But we see this course not just as a prerequisite, but as fundamental skills that everyone should know. It is completed in a short time and gives you great confidence.

PADI Divemaster

If you want to pursue diving not just as a hobby but professionally, the Divemaster course is your first professional step. With this course, you can manage diving activities, assist in training and lead other divers.

The course takes approximately 3 weeks and is quite comprehensive. The calm and clear waters of Adrasan make both learning and enjoying yourself easier during this intensive training period. If you want to turn your diving passion into a career opportunity, you are in the right place.
